Pick-Up, Transfer to Mikumi National Park & Game Drive
Your 1 Day Mikumi Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Dar es Salaam or Morogoro at approximately 4:30 AM. You will then begin your journey to Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most accessible and wildlife-rich national parks.
A breakfast stop will be made in Morogoro Town before continuing the drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you will enter the park and begin an exciting wildlife game drive, with a lunch break enjoyed inside the park.
The game drive continues until approximately 3:00 PM, after which you will begin the return journey to Dar es Salaam.
During your safari, you may have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, hippos, and more than 300 species of birds.
